The Wyoming "Sharia Law Amendment" was a proposed legislatively referred constitutional amendment in 2011 in the state of Wyoming. The measure, which sought to prohibit Wyoming courts from using international law or Sharia law in decisions, did not make it out of the legislature.[1][2]
The measure is primarily sponsored by Rep. Gerald Gay.[3]
